Day 1 Friday Evening
Meet at Harwich Port at 8pm to board overnight ferry (cabins will be issued when you book in)
Day 2 Saturday
Depart Hook of Holland at 7.30am heading through Holland stopping for rest periods. In to Germany - at Koblenz we ride along the Rhine River and head for Frankfurt and onto Rodermark for our overnight stop. Approx 350 miles.
Day 3 Sunday
Leave the hotel after breakfast around 9am, ride through German country side following the river Neckar to Heilbronn. At Heilbronn join the motorway to Kempten, at this point we start riding through the mountains into Austria heading for Innsbruck and then onto our hotel at Gotzens, our base for the next 5 nights. Approx 320 miles.
Days 4 to 7
There will be different rides out each day, taking different routes through the mountains and taking in some spectacular views with great roads to match.
Trips may be to Oberammergau - initially made famous in 1634 by performing the first ‘Passion Play’ which has happened every 10 years since
Krimml Waterfall – the highest and possibly the most beautiful waterfalls in Europe. These waterfalls measure 380m high!
The Dolomite mountains – a range of the Alps which in August 2009 was declared national heritage of the UNESCO
On two of these days you can choose to rest and/or take day trips back into Germany to visit some of the local castles and churches – that is if you don’t want to ride on the mountain roads again!
Day 8 Friday
Time to begin the journey home. We shall depart the hotel at 9am heading down the Inn Valley and towards and over the Fern Pass back into Germany. Joining the motorway, we head back to Heilbronn. At Heilbronn we follow the Necker River and head back to Rodermark for our overnight stop.
Day 9 Saturday
Leave Rodermark at 9am heading towards Frankfurt and then following the Rhine to Koblenz rejoining the motorway and making our way back to the Hook of Holland to catch the overnight ferry back to Harwich.
Day 10 Sunday
Arrive at Harwich Port early morning, saying our goodbyes and making your way home.
